Kiira is a Finnish Figure Skating superstar. She is a five-time Finnish National Champion, three-time European Medalist and two-time Grand Prix winner. She represented Finland twice at the Olympic Games in Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010.
Kiira ended her professional career in 2015 after which she has performed in numerous prestigious skating shows around the world. At the moment Kiira lives in New York City, where she studies psychology in the University and teaches young skaters.
Kiira´s philosophy to training is that it should be inspiring, challenging and demanding but not in a hurtful way. After her career Kiira has become an advocate for athlete rights and ethical figure skating coaching. In Arctic Midsummer Festival Kiira wants to share her knowledge about athlete growth, daily life challenges of a professional athlete as well as the line between demanding (ethical) and hurtful (unethical) coaching. Kiira hopes she gets to work and meet with skaters all ages and from all around the world both on and off-ice.
- In the Arctic Midsummer Festival you get to work with Kiira on ice where she teaches jump and spin techniques, performing, skating skills, body control and skating confidence among other things.

Signe Ronka – Flexafit
Signe Ronka is the founder/head coach of Flexafit, a sport specific fitness program for figure skaters and is Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, Personal Trainer Specialist, NCCP 3 Canadian National Competetive Coach, and holds an honour BA from the University of Toronto. Signe is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Figure Skater Fitness, a quarterly magazine that takes a scientific approach to sport specific training.
Signe competed for Canada in the Junior Grand Prix circuit where she medaled at 3 internation events. She qualified for the Junior Grand Prix finals and competed at the Junior World Championships. Signe is a Canadian Junior Ladies Bronze medalist. As the industry leader in sport specific off-ice conditioning. Signe´s mission is to train, educate, motivate and equip athletes of all levels with the rights tools for achieving on-ice success.

We have teamed up with Flexafit, our international industry leading partner to provide world class on and off ice workshops, training camps, and coach education clinics. Skaters will learn result proven techniques in both on and off ice to improve jump height, faster twitch for rotation, power and speed, flexibility and more.
FLEXAFIT is an all encompassing sport specific educational and service provider that offers various fitness, flexibility, off-ice jump, dance programs, standardized testing, workshops, seminars and educational resources (Figure Skater Fitness magazine). FLEXAFIT provides figure skaters a solid foundation to excel in sport specific activities, which furthermore promotes healthy living.
