Santasport, located in Ounasvaara near the centre of Rovaniemi, offers many interesting activities for winter. There is plenty to do for families and active people in our yard and nearby areas. Check out the options and enjoy winter with sports!

Ski track network

Ski in the spectacular scenery of Ounasvaara! Around 100 kilometers of ski tracks around Ounasvaara are part of more than 200 kilometers long ski track network of Rovaniemi.

Winter walking route

Walk through Ounasvaara and admire the wintry spruce forests and beautiful landscapes on a signposted winter walking route. The route is suitable for all ages.

Winter cycling route

Ride a bike safely on a route marked with winter off-road cycling signs. The rehabilitation of the route will start as soon as there is enough snow for snowmobiling.

Equipment rental

Rent the equipments of your choise for outdoor activities! In our equipment rental shop you will find fatbikes, skinbased skis, snow shoes and sliding snow shoes, cross-country skiing sets, sleds and children's sledges.

Self-guided Hiking in Ounasvaara

Enjoy self-guided hiking in the scenery of Ounasvaara. For example, an observation tower located nearby is an excellent place to go during a hike also for children. The distance to the tower is about 300 meters.

Sledding hill

Children's favorite sledding hill can be found in our yard next to the soccer field. Sleds can also be rented from our equipment rental store.

Bowling alley

The bowling alley have 12 lanes. Even the little ones can enjoy bowling with the help of gutter guards. Cosmic bowling is available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays!

Spa

Our spa has a fitness pool, a group of recreational pools and children's pool with water slide. In December you get to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of candelight swimming.

Day pass

Day pass includes access to gym, spa and group exercise. Price: 15 €. You can buy a day pass from our reception.

Indoor Activity Park - Funpark

Indoor Activity Park - Funpark is full of fun things to do for children! The park is available to our guests for 5€/day. Funpark is also a great place to organise children's birthday parties!

Experience memorable moments as a spectator! Sports events are organized weekly at Santasport and Lappi Areena, which can be enjoyed by the whole family!
